Any good large-scale battle games?

I need suggestions for a good game, with like large scale maps and a lot of ppl. Can be modern or old, somewhat tactical like Arma.

You might want to be more specific... do you want FPS, GHRTS or simulated battles with you being able to watch it with detailed models etc?

Simulated FPS for example. Something like Arma but I'm not talking about those ones like COH or Foxhole.

Fair enough. I saw some other war game, can´t really get my tongue on it, maybe someone else can, where you control large forces of army groups (tanks, infantry, etc) over a huge map and they do simulated battle... (not really my genre) I reckon that is what you look for.
