I used to tell people of FMA all the time, telling them to take a break before the try going from the original FMA to FMA brotherhood that way the differences are screaming at you just whispering.
if you read post number 129 and 130 you will know why anime means so much to me.
and now that i have discovered a lot of blocked in this country all of the fragments are coming together.I will have to reform my group that were the last line of defence for anime in the United States,all anime fanatics welcome if you support the cause.

keeping in mind i swore i would never reform this group.
the primary goal was to keep anime available for any who were intrested
secondary goals were to keep too much from being changed going from the original version to the one aired(look at YU-GI-OH for best example of an anime that was change so much the story suffered for it)
and to keep manga easy to find
i need people this group then or now WILL NOT PROMOTE VIOLENCE
all welcome it is and was a word of mouth styled group so even if we fail once we just keep trying to reach these goals

i stll dont know if there is really a difference between a fanfic and fan service or if these are just innerchangable terms
I can tell you that if not enough of the original isnt present in either a fanfic or fan service that a whole new anime/manga could be created,yet most of the people who would do these have almost no artistic abilities
Take me for example, i can draw some wicked looking weapons mostly scythes but i can not draw people or armor
anime/manga need more unity between its fans and its artist,just think of the stories that could be made
