any anime that has more than 20 episodes have a lot of filler any less most dont care to watch it .hack// quantum has just 3 episodes then it was over sort of.i have noticed that Funimation anime have the least filler episodes normaly having at least one fight scene per episode to keep it intresting yet they use most kids and teen as there lead role and that puts a lot of people off i dont mind being i was about that age when i got into anime judge me or dont if you do however i will show you the darknss of my personal hell all with words

.hack//sign was the best, .hack//roots sucked by trying to retcon it with "the Chosen One" trope and zero explanation of how Machi caused Tsukasa to get stuck in the World. Never heard of quantum, don't care.

Funimation can do whatever it wants, there's nothing wrong with using kids and teens as role models for other kids and teens to learn important life lessons. I'm a grown-ass adult and I'm still learning more about what it means to be a decent human being from the lead roles in "Toilet-Bound Hakano-san" and "Shimoneta".

the pacing was absolute trash past the first 6 episodes of the first season, the main character gets plot armor at every moment it seems like he could actually die, and because the show was such a waste it ended up making every isekai it spawned the same or worse.

give me 6 months to retell that story i would weave together SAO and .hack// variants to make some thing unique and even be able to throw in things from other anime like Blood+,and Code Breaker

I think it's pure perfection despite a slow start, that maybe in some ways is very usefull since it puts usefull time information and let people feel accomodated to a certain routine where nothing really extraordinary happens and then SNAP, spiral of chaos.

Couldn't get past episode 2, I'd rather die than watch till episode 10 where the fun begins.
