And it is more important that it sounds.
But briefly opening your world in multiplayer mode to temporarily enable cheats in order to use a couple console commands is sometimes necessary to un-break something.
Like the time I was experimenting with the new Game Rules and foolishly disabled 'forgive dead players' and wound up with hoards of permanently-hostile zombie pigmen and had to disable the rule with the console.
Or the time when using a treasure map and I dug up (or blasted) almost the entire peninsula looking for the damn chest and gave up and used the console to locate it, and it was 20 meters away from where the damned map X said it was. It was my fault for expanding the treasure map, I guess.
Also, it is sometimes possible to get yourself stuck, like PiroPito did in the Ocean Monument. There was no way to escape other than using a teleport command, switching difficulty to hard so he could starve to death, or reloading a backed-up save (which is what he did).

You go to hell before you die
When you beat a game quickly, developers must release the next game quickly.
When developers must release the next game quickly, they make stupid games.
When they make stupid games, they look for a cheaper distributor.
When they look for cheaper distributor, they sell on epic store.
When they sell on epic store, people have to use epic launcher.
When people have to use epic launcher, they seldom visit steam.
When they seldom visit steam, they don't get to see your profile.
The consequence is that nobody will see your steam profile.
its minecraft, who takes it seriously?
jeez man lmao, i swear to god i'm just using cheats to test stuff on a SINGLEPLAYER world. ya'll take this very seriously it's hilarious. look, i hate cheaters to you know, but i think using console command on a SINGLEPLAYER world does no harm to anyone, ya'll need to chill out bruh.
Let me tell you guys the context: I just downloaded a mod and I want to test it on another world but I'm trying to make it as simillar as possible as my main survival world, that's why i want to know if i use cheats to get my ingridients, will it make any difference or not.
open your mind people, judging people based on LITERALLY one sentence of what they said is also a sin y'know.
