Watching anime at 2x speed

I have so much anime to watch that sometimes, if it is an anime I'm not very invested in, I will watch it at 2x speed. Anyone else do this?

I do this with programming lessons sometimes.

Oddly enough it doesn't matter what speed I watch it at I can still only absorb one lesson at a time.

Not me. I watch few eps and if it's not for me i won't watch it.

If I'm not interested in the anime I'll drop it. I watch most youtube videos at 2x speed if they aren't music though, so I can kinda understand where you're coming from

I was just watching scenes from Pulp Fiction at .75 speed.

It's a very lethargic, but interesting way to watch a film.

Isn't most of the dialogue people just describing what's currently happening? Really missing the crucial plot elements.

Not viewing entertainment, no. But if I'm having to listen to a tutorial or such, I'll put it at 1.5 or 2x speed.
