It's going to be King vs King, until that pest mecha G shows up. One of the plot theories is Kong annihilating The other Titans before the two fight.

This movie takes place in another universe, called Monsterverse.
It's a different Godzilla, with different powers.
The scenarists just can not write brave enough these days and the end kinda known before film starts. A scenario is the most important thing in a monster film, coming just after film effects.
