Pay no attention to them.
Given it a try a few times, many animes never finish before they are cancelled. That irks me.
seems like bait to me
they're hated because they switch gears or animation styles
Giant mecha anime rarely disappointed me. (Eureka 7)
I heard so far only AGE and Reconguista should be initially avoided... Mobile Fighter G and Wing still have plenty of fans, contrary to popular belief. Counterattack, Zeta and Turn A are a bit of "sacred cows" apparently...
Animation quality should remain consistent or become better. Monogatari is probably the most consistent anime when it comes to animation quality
Stupid reasons for you, maybe very valid reasons for others... we are all biased and all have our own opinions for what is "true" after all.....
Pacing in the show is also generally terrible even with the constant flashbacks not considered.
Also, constant plot holes and poor writing plague both seasons. I'm not talking about plot holes like, "this is unrealistic and would never actually happen" kind of stuff. I'm talking about the shows plot not following the logic it built into its own story... For example, one character has an ability to sense bio-magnetic fields of living beings to the point where he can tell how many people are on the surface through hundreds of feet of dirt, and yet somehow he gets surprised by an enemy that was burrowing underground towards him for many hours, if not days. This is just one example off the top of my head, but these kinds of massive holes where things work one way in one scene and work a completely different way - or are totally forgotten about - in other scenes is noticeable through the whole show.
I watched the show because I was bored and have already watched every other anime I'm interested in until new shows are released, but there's at least 100 other anime shows I'd recommend to someone before I tell them about Terra Formars.
