Money. "The immaterial has become immaterial", nowadays. Plus, fake money is less commonly encountered, compared against fake love. Also, fake money do not harm you or jeopardize your safety, sanity, freedom; fake love can bring you much grief, woes and trouble, on the other hand. That and money is a passport, an all-purpose key. There is literally nothing you cannot buy with it, since everybody and everything apparently has a price. Last but not least, love is like money sometimes; the poor is scorned and deprived of it, to the rich it goes.
