I had 1k+ games in the 80's on the micro computers alone. Then then all the consoles later + modern PC gaming clients. Yeah I wracked up multiple thousands of games bought and beat.
Though I do agree I doubt I could find 500 games now that I still want to play or replay. Probably half that number. A lot of games just aged out and are still going to age out as the decades go by.

Though lots of games aged out at some point. I never going to really play anything again from 80's,90's,00's that often. It is very rare indeed I go back that far for gaming now.
