Division 1 - Is it still active?
i've come across a cheap bundle with the division in and don't know if it worth it. I don't know anybody else who plays it so i'd be playing on my own or pugging.
Is it worth it in 2021?

I play this on PC on the Ubisoft client and I see people running around the safe rooms. So it has active player base, but I ignore them and play solo. D1 one is more trickier/harder than D2 and I think D1 got a bump of players when Ubisoft did a free base game giveaway. I notice a drop off in players. D2 is still pretty busy, but I have the PS4 version for that.

Yes I play solo and kind of badly. I am grinding for gear/weapons/mods and levelling rank. I seem to owned if the A.I. is only a couple of ranks above me. I am going down probably10 times more in D1, because I am so used to the gameplay in D2 (level 40 in that now). D1 I have to cut the A.I. line of fire off with positioning and pop up for quick shots. They are so accurate and deadly. Playing the stay back ranged game in D1.

Division 2 is more easier/forgiving solo. In D2 my play style in close to medium range.More so close with a pair of shotguns. I am chasing the mobs down, because the A.I. comes across as less accurate. I can pop up out of cover and sight aim a lot longer in D2 even with larger mobs than D1. If I did that in D1 one I would be dead in seconds.
