Raw, they're good as a side to Balkan cuisine. (Čevapi, pljeskavica, etc.)

They're also a good base for several sauces and minced meat dishes.

Onion rings are delicious, but unhealthy.

Onion is both good raw and cooked though i agree about the salad part but more because salad taste bad to me.

Same. I put onions in almost everything. Sometimes in burrito mixes raw for extra zing.

delicious. i love the smell when they cook in the pan on the stove. they're great in cajun dishes and italian dishes. bolognese pasta has onions and it's so fragrant.
