Best ARPG games that arent path of exile or diablo?

Oh, it is quite good. But you definately have to like the mythological setting.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 1 and 2 are pretty fun.

I think OP was specifically going for "Diablo-alike" without using those words.

But I agree, which is why I wouldn't suggest Kingdoms of Amalur:Reckoning (for example), even though it's technically an ARPG. I just assume top-down, mouse-click, looks like Diablo, plays like Diablo when I see a request like this.

Grim Dawn is the best ARPG around imo.

I also remember having that game on CD-rom called Seal Of evil which was kind of a Asian themed Diablo game but I have no Idea where you can get a legit copy of that game outside of second hand games.

I've got more hours in Torchlight 2 than all the rest, even though GD is my favorite right now.

Just found out about, and downloaded a new mod for TL2 called Torchlight 2-E, which looks like a total conversion akin to Synergies (which is what I've been playing for many hours). Looks like I'm going to get sucked back into TL2.

I forgot all about Sacred 1 and 2. 3 was also amazing, but I could never deal with that camera angle.

Also forgot: Dungeon Siege 2, if you can find it and mod it, is well worth it.

The Fate games were direct predecessors of Torchlight. Even down to the "Your pet has departed." voice and the fishing mechanic. Those were really good, if simple, prototypes, back in the day.

The major franchises are the D&D ones like Baldurs Gate, Neverwinter, Icewind etc, PIllars of Eternity, Larian's Divinity series with the older real-time classics, Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Spiderweb Studio's franchises like Geneforge, Soldak's classics like Din's Curse.

They're more CRPGs than ARPGs.

I am aware of the mix. I was thinking less of labels, more to whether OP is looking more RPG flavours and thus throwing the mix out there for OP's research and wishlisting :) Come join the dark side, OP...

Definitely grim dawn for most Diablo like game but better than Diablo.
