So J-Pop is kind of unpopular in many circles, but I recently discovered that if you strip away the annoying timbres and super-high pitches, it has some of the freaking best progressions.

IV7 V7 iii7 vi is a beautiful progression for looping and I III vi is like the most ingenious modulation of the famous V i resolution possible.
