Does Midway's Greatest Arcade Hits for GBA save?
I was told I might get an answer to this question here, and I figured the off-topic threads were the appropriate place for non-Steam games.
I've been testing some of my old games before putting them up for sale, and I found that Midway's Greatest Arcade Hits for Game Boy Advance doesn't save high scores when the GBA is turned off. A comment on a review suggested that this is just the normal function of this game bundle. I want to verify this to be sure my copy is fully functional, but the information is a bit hard to come by. Is there anyone here familiar with Midway's Greatest Arcade Hits who can confirm that it doesn't save?

This game is so niche that i don't know what that is.
it doesn't seem to have a save features from what I see.

one way you can see for yourself is to open the cart and search for a battery or an Eeprom.

I'll have to see if I have the right screwdriver for that. I'll check from the eeprom if I can. What I did find is that GBA games usually don't have a battery. But you seem to have found something on it?

I mean you can totally save on GBA games cartridges. This is unusual that you can't here.

Some gba carts only have a Rom chip and have no save features built in.

those that can save also have an additional chip that contains the save , either a battery powered chip for the early games or a eeprom one for the more recent game ...

games using EEprom pause while saving and usually have a mesage going like ''saving , do not turn off your gba'' warning and don't use Battery.
