would you make your pet vegan?

Every time I hear some one talk about vegan I think of 2 things. 1. That Mr. Pickles episode "Vegans" and 2. Something I heard from somewhere, "If animals didn't want to get eaten, then maybe they shouldn't have decided to be food." My pet is a predator and will not become a vegan.

they argue that we have transcended the need for meat since we're in a civilized society.

i totally disagree with that but to each their own. in all honesty regular plain old vegetarianism is healthier, and its only marginally less moral.
