Nonono we are not going to learn russian words but just the alphabets.
Trust me, if you know how to pronounce each alphabet, you can read russian (but not understand it!). Yes it is easy to learn but the next level is the words, so the alphabets are very basic for now.

Unstressed: A a Like "o" in bore

You can read it more like eee like REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
The "й" is diffrent itself.
