Which one should be valued more


Knowledge is important, but someone can get scholarships and end up being the most irrational decision makers who feel 10x more than they think(look at journalists). Also knowledge can be easily replaced with "knowledge", which leads to brainwashing.

Intelligence is impressive, but its also stagnant and can't be increased like knowledge. People with bellow average IQs can end up living normal lives anyway. Also while a high IQ can increase your luck, its not really a massive game changer if youre not equally as massively passionate.

Knowledge does not come directly from education, infact we might struggle to logical deduct or agree on what it even is. We also don´t factor in false knowledge or even how the knowledge is obtained.. This is were Learning comes into the picture and that is also something people have a hard time defining and don´t agree on..

As for intelligence. That is just as hard. What intellience? or are you suggesting that only the "logical/math" intelligence has any merit?


The thing is.. us humans like to give stuff values or labels.. that is why IQ (the logical/math) one exist. (there are plenty of other theories out there, lucky enough! like gardners many intelligences)


The way we precieve knowledge or act on it is also very individual and we are all biased at some degree.. But well.. I don´t know much and I don´t care about numbers, that only give a brief showcase of a person, in a certain boxed situation.

That's exactly right i think. Bluster can give the appearance of intelligence. And in the first example, intelligence is confused with timidity and hesitance.

The most important is knowledge for sure. Common mistake for the new blood. But for someone who want to work and do effort, intelligence is a large plus. There is also the lucky One.

Honestly I think they're both equally important. Possessing but not the other seems rather pointless to me.

I honestly can't see in what age demographics determine which you may prefer more between Knowledge and Intelligence but sure, you think what you want.

Knowledge is something that can be learned through hours spend on the subject. Intelligence is something that most people develop in the way kinda like walking. Not something you can just train and you can just be more intelligent. In fact there might not be intelligent people. The guy who you call intelligent, in the eyes of a guy more intelligent, he might look like a dumbass.

Modern education depends on country. Lower in modern feodal staircase countries has less "rationale" and more "just do it". In fact people in lower countries must be able to do any only with help of country-leaders (NATO leaders).

Any education has no sence without "reference point" as "system of base values" (i.e. Christianity Decalogue), means logic has no sence unrelated to system of base values, but this is philosophical point, ruling parties claim "there are no any systems of base values" (atheism) and prevent any discussions of the idea (they are beyond good and evil).
