3) Bad colour schemes or grayscale/brownscale prevailing.
4) No Windows 7 support
5) Punishing difficulty.
All this but also "this will change gaming forever", the more I head this the more I grow skeptical. Noticed this after CyberPunk but it goes back to No Mans Sky too. Most games I think of that really changed gaming like Minecraft were sleeper hits.
However if a game self proclaims thar be red flags and you can know this before even buying it then perhaps they know how to make fun of the industry. I'd certainly respect the honesty rather than being baited into buying something later that can't be earned in-game but is required to finish the quest.
Achievements just for the sake of having them doesn't make a good game, however if its a complicated game they are hints at how to get gud and that is much appreciated.
I'll take a small, handcrafted world with a 5 hour story over your 100's of hours any day of the week. If you can't be arsed to make your world unique and interesting then I can't be arsed to play it.

regardless I do know the developers in question censor and delete any criticism from the steam forum and discord and are more than happy to hand out community bans for nothing. It is a definite red flag when developers act this protective over their games image.
