Anyone here too embarrassed/too shy to smile?

I am too embarrassed to smile, because I am just shy in general, and I feel like my smiles look too weird. Can anyone else here relate? Or am I the only one who is weird?

I could relate, long before I came to the conclusion people prefer bold and confident people, even if they're weird, in fact I think that actually adds to the appeal of people to some.

One can't improve social skills without confidence to try, that's something that came with ageing for me.

I had a friend who had a hard time making eye contact with pretty much everyone, but even he could smile.

We don't know how your smile looks so we could only speculate. My suggestion is to ask a few people you trust if your smile looks weird, because if you are a shy person it is most likely your idea.

Nah , I usually don't smile just because I dont feel like it and even when I smile I don't like showing my teeth.

My teeth are messed up , especially the one on the front.

Not really but I don't always feel like smiling. Sometimes just saying something like "I appreciate your hard work" is as good as a smile.
