Def Leppard or Bob Seger? ( Tribute Bands )
I'm easing my way back into concerts. :)

There is a tribute to Def Leppard this Friday and a Bob Seger one on Saturday. Which one should I go to?

( And yes, I realize that some of you may not like tribute bands or Bog Seger or Def Leppard lol )

And I can't do both.

That would be a VERY difficult choice for me to make.

I saw Def Leppard in Lakeland FL in 1983 and then had the pleasure of meeting them backstage afterward (months before Ricky lost his arm), and had the TIME of my LIFE (it's kind of a long story), so I might opt for seeing Seger (who I've *always* enjoyed listening to) instead. I've never been to one of his shows.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards Seger.

It's in a better part of town and about 5 mintues away. :lunar2019grinningpig:

Def Leppard to me just seems like a joke that went over everybody's heads.

I mean, if that voice weren't goofy enough, he pronounces his vowels like a two year old, and on top of it all, he calls himself a homophone of "deaf."

Bob Seger over Def Leppard without a doubt!

When you're talking about tribute bands however, I suspect the opposite is true? I mean, how seriously would the Bob Seger tribute band take itself?

By the same token, the Def Leppard tribute band would undoubtedly be a good time.

Yeah, it all depends on the quality of the tribute.

I love an Ozzy one called "Madman's Diary." Both of these events are free so I don't have much to lose...
Tribute bands never ever sound as good as the real thing.

I think that's a given. :)

Bob Seger since people liked Joe Cocker and Seger sounds just like him.
