Tomb raider vs uncharted

What are your thoughts about this adventure games and which one of those too are more fun?Obviously most here will say tomb raider because of nostalgia or because uncharted is a ps exclusive but the people which played both what do you think

I only played Tomb Raider reboot and Uncharted 3, and I enjoyed TR more.


From what I remember Uncharted 3 was a climbing simulator.

Haven't played Uncharted and only played bits and pieces of Lara Croft games, mostly old ds versions, but I pick Lara Croft.

the original 4 tomb raiders are classics, so im voting tomb raider based on that.

I have played various Tomb Raider games (most of the old ones and the 2013 reboot one), but never played Uncharted. The latter is still on my to-do list, though I've never bothered to purchase them. So I guess Tomb Raider.

Definetly but there is a big sale on gog right now and it’s pretty cheap

Definately TR. Played Uncharted 4 which was linear with lots of tube levels and scripted events and I didn‘t enjoy it at all so I stopped playing it. Tomb Raider on the other hand, especially the older titles, feel a lot more atmospheric and open. You see your goal and it‘s your task to jump and climb or solve puzzles to get there.

Uncharted is more cinematic than tomb raider but the newer games are also more in that direction not as heavy like uncharted tho.I get the criticism of people say they don’t want to play games which are like movies

George prefers to roleplay as lara but the mature lara.The inexperienced lara is boring and not immersive and she also misses some features because she has to apply to *modern standards*

Lara is the only female character where i get the feeling that im her as well usually i prefer character creation tho in video games.With the new games the devs said they want you to feel like lara but i think they og ones are more immersive (not from a graphical standpoint)

The original Tomb Raiders developed by Core are better than both the Uncharted and rebooted Tomb Raider games.

Well the new ones are heavily consolized so this qtes are here to stay.Not a big fan of quick time stuff either

Played every Uncharted game to date.

I have played some Tomb Raider before, but I never got into it.

Also multiplayer, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Sony, get NaughtyDog add more Maps in Uncharted 4 MP. You only added like 2 or 3 throwback maps, meanwhile uncharted 3 has had new maps, as well as maps from uncharted 2 mp. And don’t give me that ♥♥♥♥ about how that it takes time and money, cuz I know it does, but you are still running the multiplayer servers and it’s playable on PS5, so clearly there is some value in adding new content to it, like come on.

I have several *TR games but haven't really played them much. The only Uncharted game I have is Golden Abyss and have beat it once and while I don't use my Vita much anymore I did play it a lot when I did bother bringing it everywhere.

*1(Saturn), 2/3(PS1 via PS3), 4(PSP via PSV), 2013(PS3), and Rise/Shadow(X1X).
