plus using the two words toxicity toxic, is just as dumb.
But i can show you the one true source of happiness, because i love you.

Team based games became toxic because they aren't about playing for fun anymore, they are about playing to win and being a slave to "ThE MeTa!!" And if you don't obey and carry the team, you aren't playing the game correctly.
Team Fortress 2's casual and silly nature is a major part of the many reasons why the game has lasted over a decade and remains comfortably in stream's top 10 most played daily. People just wanna have fun and screw around, this is why meme maps like 2fort and turbine are the most popular.
Overwatch could have ended up the same way had Blizzard not shifted gears towards competitive balancing and putting all their eggs in one basket with Overwatch league.
...another reason why I prefer single player games
tbh games have always been toxic but nowadays the games you play can be more toxic depending. Usually if the game seems toxic 9/10 times it's not them it's you and you should find another game.
Only exceptions are games that are old af like more than 4 years or older and the player base is pretty much peaking at 1k a day.
175 ping?
Wow thats what i get now minimum if i play on asia server...
Ah yes tf2 , the game that still has lot of toxicity after all these 14 years where some ppl think its funny to just stay on 2fort basement as engineer without doing anything is "fun" cuz the "engineer gaming" meme iz very c00l bro and even those ppl get bored after a couple of minutes if they are not afk
Lmao even tf2 itself has a meta , specially mvm, where they start crying like babies if you dont use it ,not even on csgo that happens
So not rly the best example out there
The only reason why tf2 is still alive is nostalgia ,mvm loots, trading and lot ppl not having good hardware
And for some reason i found waaaay more kids on tf2 than any other PvP game out there....
Tf2 could have even more ppl if it wasnt a game that gets boring rly quick honestly
Frankly I'm surprised we haven't hit another game market crash yet with all the negative publicity across the board: slave-driving developers, extortionate publishers, rude and crude streamers, abundant debauchery and violent depictions, preachy reviewers, paid news outlets, greedy business practices sacrificing content, not to mention the encroaching DRM and EULA leashing everything not explicitly sold on a self-contained disk.
