How to force sdr content to show hdr?

I saw youtuber play a game with no hdr setting at all in hdr. How do i do that.

Two options i can think of.

1. He streams the game in "SDR" - but You watch it in HDR

2. I believe there´s a setting in the driver and in Windows. I have a HDR monitor, tried it once, thought the quality is worse, switched back and never looked back. I bought this one not because of HDR, but because of the high contrast.
