This is not new.
The one thing I do admit though is that I like how BTS (and other similar male kpop groups) they place importance on self care and hygiene and to look good as it is part of their job (despite the fact they use plastic surgery.) Their dancing is also good as I like dances that look cool and flashy. Music can be subpar or overhyped though.

That's really a matter of opinion to be honest. Beatles is more rock pop and BTS is more hip hop/ pop. Regardless of genre/ boy band, there are always going to be crazy fan girls/ boys. I do admit some of the Beatles songs are good.
