Do guys still think waxing is "girly?"

I've been wanting to get my face waxed as I just don't like having facial hair. I asked my mom if I can get waxed and she wasn't opposed to the idea but my dad say no because I'm a guy.

I would see it as girly, yes. But then again, how you shave/wax is your business. Just get an electric shaver, much easier. No need for water or shaving cream neither.

Never heard anyone say it was girly. I’m guessing this is a middle schooler’s issue because adults don’t sit around dictating what’s “girly” or not.

I just shave. I think waxing would have to be done as often as shaving. Just not worth the extra money and pain.

Laser surgery costs and is the convenient option. Problem is I think the roots come back after a year or so. So…expensive and isn’t permanent.

I don't really care what you do so long as you don't involve me in it. If you want to wax, then go ahead. That's your business. If someone complains about what you're doing in your spare time, that's on them. Ignore them.

"Metrosexual" male beauty regimes are more and more common now. I work with a guy in his 20s and he does the whole 9 yards of moisturising, eyebrow threading (whatever that is), manicures, all of it.

The only reason I don't do all that is I just don't have that kind of time. Shower, shave, ♥♥♥♥. Dressed and out.

if you want more permanent hair removal, electrolysis is as permanent as you can get iirc, laser removal is a thing too but it's not as permanent

You want to wax your facial hair? My god that's gonna be painful! Not to mention you're setting yourself up for potential extreme ingrown hairs right on your face where you can't hide it.
