I just threw up a little in my mouth.
hahahaha.
We get robo cat girls at some point so Sony will do fine.
I played games on both geforce NOW and stadia , some days it's work fine , some days it's terrible ... so I still play almost all of my games locally.
The Xbox is a PC in a box running Windows 10 so hardly porting, it is an ecosystem they want you using yet i have no need for Xbox so therefore it is not a sales pitch i fall for.
Microsoft lost the last generation console battle because there were no games been
released on Xbox, a fact those criticising Sony like to leave out.
Microsoft were first to start charging console gamers for using online services.
Microsoft had exclusives it refused to release on PC. Porting them years later is hardly a reason to sing Microsoft's praises, so why criticise Sony when it simply boils down to FOMO or the very fact that there are PC gamers resistant to putting PC games on consoles.
PC Master Race is an illusion.
I am a GAMER, someone who plays games on various platforms and Demon's Souls on PS3 and Bloodborne on PS4 are great experiences. I have replayed Demons' Souls every year since 2009 and Bloodborne every year since 2015.
I did not buy an Xbox to play Halo, because i was not interested in Xbox nor Halo and when it came to PC years later i still do not want to play it and i still do not have an Xbox.
Game Pass is overrated - only 5 games i fancied playing during the £1 offer for Ultimate and all we uninstalled after realising i did not want to play them and Game pass was refunded.
I do not pay monthly for that kind of service. If i want a game i buy it.
For FFXIV i am willing to pay the subscription for it.
Bethesda are overrated and they are not the only developer on the planet.
Skyrim is boring unless modded and it only survived because of modding.
Fallout 4 is not an improvement on Fallout 3 and Fallout 3 is surpassed by Fallout New Vegas.
Fallout 76 was a disaster and it is irrelevant whether it has improved for some people
People do not run out and upgrade their PC to play Bethesda games since Bethesda has used the same crappy engine for years with tweaks.
If you had named them BUGthesda you would have been correct.
Sony owns a few of those companies releasing on their consoles and if you are winning the console war and release games as Sony did for PS4 the expenditure versus increasing income becomes a moot point.
As for cloud gaming -
It's hard to take the OP serious after that remark.
"industry" isn't many individuals. industry is a body by/in itself. we talk about it, we live in it, we feel it breath, we touch it and we feel being pushed by it (a.k.a. fear of missing out). based on how we talk about it we define ourselves (a.k.a. polarization).
for the industry those games are good if they are good enough.
The industry is those work in it, live in it, and breath it - we on the other hand as those who consume it's products, who talk about games, and maybe when asked we may pass on a opinion on the industry.
A game is defined by yourself whether good, bad, not the industry.
You may feel that it is incorrect but i do not find myself talking about the food industry, chemical industry, music industry, game industry etc in daily life.
TFW plebs think 5G > optic fibre.
Bethesda are more than just those titles you mentioned, and even then you're massively downplaying them. Skyrim is an industry staple at this point, it prints money wherever it goes. That new ES title will be massive, and may well skip Sony. Similarly for Fallout, massive IP with a huge following, and even 76 hasn't ended up being a disaster. It's certainly not irrelevant, no need for the hyperbole.
They also bring over Doom, Quake (newly revived), Dishonoured, Wolfenstein among others, games the Sony consoles may not ever see again. Their much-hyped Starfield is also an Xbox/PC-only title, again, that's a huge loss to Sony.
Sony found their success by offering better exclusives, on top of playing the biggest third-party games available too. Removing a chunk from that latter section is a massive blow to them, which explains them doubling down on their own exclusives by buying more studios.
Optic Fibre is expensive to Implements , so I think there are places that might actually get 5G before Optic Fibre and both are better then what some peoples are stuck with.
it is correct.
