Hey, speaking of news - how far away are you from all the flooding that just took place up there?
East Tennessee, that was a few counties west. Horrible stuff.
Well Hurricane Ida's supposed to hit Louisiana on a northward track late Sunday. Hard. (They're saying she'll be category 3 by the time she makes landfall.) Hopefully she'll hang a right and head ENE from there.
Y'all stay safe.
Lemme guess...deep state, Jews, Bill Gates...
whatever man.
Yeah, those counties don't need any more and they're right in the center of the expected path. We've actually been pretty dry here around Knoxville, all told. It's the plateau counties that are suffering, here in the valley we could use some rain. It's been low-to-mid 90's for weeks and that humidity just sits on top of us.
Hopefully it won't become a shartshow like Katrina, and the city and state leaders have learned since then how to manage an evacuation.
*taps mic* Is this still Earth?
It's like the Night Before Christmas in NOLA right now.
Holy balls. 😲
WCJB said category 3 at 6 o'clock.
Category 4 is a whole new ballgame.
Landfall as of now is directly south of Baton Rouge.
Slowing to Cat 1 just after landfall (2:00 AM Monday), halfway from the coast to Baton Rouge.
