Suggestions for cooperative horror FPS?

Hello, since Halloween sale is coming soon and I want to play some coop first or third person shooter (horror or survival), I would like suggestions for games, such as Remnant or Killing Floor 2.

What do you guys reccomend?

If you have the friends "Zombie Army Trilogy". It will be very cheap in the next sale starting Thursday (educated guess) and has a lot of content and various difficulty levels. Sadly for a good game user numbers are small but if you have friends with whom to play that isn't a problem.

Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 obviously.

And Vermintide 1 and 2 - although setting is fantasy/medieval gameplay is definitely horror.

I took a look on Zombie Army and Darkness 2, but unfortunately I don't think it would work for me, I don't have many friends on Steam and I wish I could play online anytime (without the need of asking friends to join)

L4D2 is a classic, It would be what I'm looking for, but I already played this game so much that I'm kinda sick of it lol.

"Strange Brigade" is another game I find very interesting, but also dying :(

Phasmophobia seems good, I will look for the gameplay on youtube

Phasmophobia it's not a shooter but it's quite interesting, it's already on my wishlist, thanks for the recommendation

I'm waiting 7 Days to Die to go out of early acess for such a long time that I forgot that this game exists lol

GTFO is on early acess too, but it's looks nice.

You can play ZAT solo, multiplayer can save you from mistakes. Plus it has chapters so if you're really stuck you can skip forward.

Op i got 1,400 hours on killing floor super addictive! went for 100% would highly recommend. now kf2 is out and that i really enjoy also about 140hrs. both games amazing.

You don't want a Cooperative Horror Experience...
Horror doesn't do well as Cooperative...

They tried this with Resident Evil 5 & 6, & also Racoon City Game,
I forget it's name, but the Experience for those Games were not very well made
for Cooperative at all...

Resident Evil 5: Got a weak Coop Multi-Player Experience
Resident Evil 6: Rushes the players through the Experience,
& you loose out on any of the Experience in the process

Racoon City I think ended up being an Online only Experience, &
it got mixed, to terrible reviews...

Horror as a Coop isn't gonna provide the experience people are wanting from it...
You wanna work together to solve a story, & explore a world, & such, but
in the end result, all that ever happens is 1 does the exploring, & the other
rushes the experience, & causes problems for both Players...

It makes it hard to go at it through your own pace, & it just takes away all the feeling
of a true Horror Game Experience...

But yes? If that is what you want, Resident Evil has some Multi-Player Games,
& so does FEAR Franchise, & also Left 4 Dead Franchise, too

That seems interesting imo and it's free to play but I couldn't find anyone to co-op it with. It is a VR game but it also runs without VR. I don't own VR equipment.

That's just plain wrong and the game has no multiplayer - thank whatever entity people worship.
