... In Canada.
Except for the knife part (im against carrying weapons), I know the feeling. But hey, someday we will manage to live in a better place for sure.
Lmao are we really that bad?
Dude, stfu! Everyone knows we drive dog-sleds to Tim Horton's and live in igloos;)
Right now, or so I'm told, there are women in New Orleans who automatically looooove Canadians just because we speak French up here! Don't go telling them we're basically Americans who left their guns at home.
Quebecois dialect is basically a drunk trying to speak french and failing.
i have/had lived in big and small cities in the philippines.
Ok, this isn't a "Canada" thread but we were singled out, so I think we deserve some leniency.
Quebecois, as I understand the story, is an older form of the language. When French people got onto boats and went to the New World, they brought their language and passionately protected it.
Meanwhile, French people simply carried on with living their lives and thought very little about the folks who left.
So today, Quebecois is a more ancient and original form of the French language, and Parisiennes look down upon us for being backwoods hillbillies?
Don't take my word for a damn thing though, I think I got an X on my bilingual profile for oral skill. Oral language skills, just to be perfectly clear.
Semi urban.
It's not "civilization" without a crowded freeway or a crack den don't ya know.
Quebecer here. Can confirm
