i drink milk without eating cookies.
Plus I'm not vegan, but I eat them without it too.
I hate i cant quote on mobile...
That is not really milk... tbh.. it should be called plant juice ^^
yep, plenty of cookies are vegan too including oreos.
There are traces of dairy and even worse, it is filled with awful palm oil (that is a direct reason for many animal´s having their habitat destroyed!!!!!!!!) If you eat oreo´s you hate animals and want them to die.

Are OREO cookies suitable for vegans?
No, OREO have milk as cross contact and therefore they are not suitable for vegans.
Is OREO halal?
No, OREO is not Halal certified in the UK but their composition or production process does not make them unsuitable for Muslim diet. The only exceptions are OREO Chocolate Brownie, OREO Enrobed Milk & White, OREO Cadbury Coated & OREO Crunchy Bites Dipped which contains traces of ethanol in the flavouring.
Oreo is said to be many things, but their homepage atleast is very fair, realistic and informative.
Many vegan´s.. (I don´t know about you Bun) has a religious mantra about it being to exclude as far as possible and practically, all forms of exploits and cruelty to animals.. I dare say, that many products that Vegan´s use does exactly this, just not directly.. That is the big issue here.
Then you have people that just want to eat less meat or try to be more healthy (diet style point of view) Those often "slack" and still get stuff like ie Oreos or maybe even fish, chocolate or driving a car.
Closest thing I can think of is something related to dietary laws, like the Kashrut in Judaism or certain sects of Buddhism, but even then that's just basic ♥♥♥♥ like don't mix meat and dairy, or don't consume certain spices. While I'm not an expert on cultural anthropology, more of a hobbyist really, I know that much at least.
That being said, I don't buy milk because I wind up not drinking it and to waste food is, in my eyes, taboo. Regardless of what it is or how horribly burnt it is. So when I do have cookies - which is rarely, given my own propensity to having a lack of self control around most sweets, and my tendency to eschew anything which is a detriment regardless of what it may be - it's usually with tea or water. I don't dunk them, I instead drink some tea or water with every bite.
Eat a cookie. Drink a milk.
or
Eat a milk. Drink a cookie.
or
Cool the milked cookie before you drink it.
or
Heat the cookied milk before you eat it.
Ask not what the snack can do for you. Ask what you can do for the snack.
Have a cookie, but no milk?
Cheer your cookie up by reading a story to it. Give it a place to rest while you read, like on top of a bowl of ice cream.
