Worst discussion (board-like) websites?
Imo it's reddit.com and voat.co

Can vouch for the toxicity of Reddit, it's basically a circle jerk hivemind and meme lords trying to karma farm.
Look at this old AMD product I found in my closet!

sry I can't count that high
That Chan place. No other discussion board I've heard of ever had a blow by blow account or livestream of a terrorist mass killing muslims - with the gleeful comments of racist incels filling the page, encouraging the slaughter. Sickening.

Reddit hands down.

Can't think of a more toxic forum.

its on par with the site thats censored here in terms of toxicity, so I dunno why Reddit gets the pass from the censor.

Twitter, facebook, reddit, tumblr, etc

Basically most mainstream things are censored like crazy. And push hard the agendas of its owners while claiming that they are credible and others are not.

And passive aggressive messures are cowardly, things like shadow banning, extention banning (banning people that break no rule but favorite something the owners disagree with), unsubbing, etc.

Though idk why I listed tumblr, it pretty much destroyed itself.

That was Facebook. Other crimes live streamed on Facebook include racially-motivated torture, people beaten to death, murders including the murders of children and infants, shootings, executions, arson, suicides, stabbings, etc and all while thousands or more watched and liked these streams or even encouraged them via live chat. I don't think chan sites have live streaming or live chat, but I could be wrong.
I wouldn't say Reddit. There are some cancer subs but it's alright for the most part.

Tumblr & Reddit; anything with a rating system and anything that evokes communal circle jerking over a narrative.

Thread could just end at this post.

Rating systems tend to ostracize any actual discussion. When your site is all about earning points, "prestige," and medals, it's trash.
None perfect. I always try to read everything so i get a clear picture on something even on something i don't agree. Everyone have different interest and preference but the only worst is when someone make lie about fact. I hate that the most but i still read so i can make myself clear when i have doubt. It's fun to read everything. So i don't really have so much confusing in my head or thinking.

Isn't that the site that keeps fact checking satire articles?
Well, you can't really say a site like Reddit, Tumblr or Twitter is board-like, because they aren't boards, they're their own things - Reddit is a series of forums, Tumblr is a series of blogs, Twitter is a waste of time and money. An imageboard, now that's more like a board. Or alternatively, a BBS - what the internet had prior to the event known as Eternal September, and to some extent still has.

Actually, come to think of it, the Smurf BBS is probably one of the worst boards on the internet. Mostly because of this one particularly messed up fanfiction by a creepy bus uncle named SmurfInHand, which is in part what brought that site much notoriety in recent years - despite said story having been published circa 2008. But then again, despite it being a BBS about The Smurfs, it is probably a hive of much more scum and degeneracy than one might think.

Otherwise, my vote is for sites like 420chan, Hispachan, Krautchan and 8chan. Mostly because they're ♥♥♥♥. Course, 8chan doesn't really exist anymore thanks to some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I'm not going to get into, so now they've got 8kun instead. Real original Jim, real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ original. Did your buttbuddies Hiroshimoot and Crowley give you that idea? Don't even get me started on those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Also 4chan was never good and if anyone tells you otherwise they're new and need to lurk moar. Also I know Krautchan got yeeted by Angela Merkel some years prior, I don't really care it's probably got a mirror on Tor at this point.

It's never a good party until the cops show up, that's for sure!
Look the whole reason why Moot had to partner with the FBI was because of people breaking the law to begin with. So long as you don't actually do something ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ illegal you're fine. It's a perfectly legitimate site and probably one of the last bastions of free speech on the current incarnation of the internet. Just don't ask to mod /b/, that's FBI jurisdiction far as I know.

Whole reason 4chan has a bad rap is because of out-of-touch humorless legacy media pundits and gay ops done by anon both online and IRL that may have made them seem a bit adversarial. Trust me when I say, there's as much good done on that site as there is, well, bad. Vigilantism against those who commit animal cruelty or child abuse, or charitable actions like going to a WW2 vet's birthday party because he had no one left in his life. Legal vigilantism mind you, because doxing someone and forwarding that and the information regarding their crimes is totally legal. List goes on and on of what various boards have done over the years.

Just don't worry about it. It's fine. I've used that site since 2008, never once have I had to talk to the 5-0 about it. Hell, I've reported my fair share of stuff to them regarding it. You're more likely to get a visit if you use one of the more backwater imageboards, like the aforementioned 8chan/8kun, or Hispachan and/or 420chan. Maybe 7chan, but then again that's another can of worms entirely. You'll probably be fine on maybe Uboachan or Desuchan, but then again I'm pretty sure Yume Nikki and Rozen Maiden are perfectly legal franchises, considering their presence on sites like Steam and Crunchyroll.

Also FYI Moot sold out and now works at Google. Yeah, guy who invented 4chan now works at one of the biggest tech companies in the world. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loser, that guy.
