Nostalgia hits hard these days for me, so..

Dear reader,

Imagine you be me. Its around 2001's till 2005. High school-boy. Just had a PC, and a PS2. Whole new world opens cause little me is around 13 - 17. Just blossoming and becoming selfaware. So.. to be clear. I am longing the simpler days from back then. Currently playing MoHAA Warchest. Sadly my brain does not have unlimited memory and I need help to create a list what little me could have played back in days. I already made a tiny list.

I've updated the list even more. It's saying 63 games, but its actually nearing 90 games. And that in 4 years time.

I've no clue if I have played Morrowind, cause I remember first playing Oblivion and then Morrowind after. That was in 2006 - 2007. Another era.

Figured the list was like a hypothetical "what would you go back to" :X If City of Heroes was still officially around, I'd probably be playing it. That list of games to go back to is relateable (with and without nostalgia), even if I haven't set aside time to play at least half of them any time soon.

WoW is currently on my list as well and that's one game I'd be playing if Stellaris and Cyberpunk 2077 weren't taking up most of my gaming time @_@

Hmmm, gonna add Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne (not the remake) to the topic.

who would forget the so called declining in PC sales due to piracy outcry from devs as well? yea not fun times when you couldent defend yourself as a PC consumer.

Great game. I played it a bit a few years ago. Tried the remake, but it was mehhh. Wish I played W3 back in days, but Diablo sucked up my Blizzard-time, haha.

Great games. Some are from pre-2001. I miss those flashgames as well. Played a bunch on the pc's at school. Great fun, haha.

Hehe, yeah. That's why I played so many games. Could just download them and play them. I think I started Source Beta with a illegal download, and then eventually bought the beta and even the game after.

Thanks for all the help, guys. I will try to find a way to play most of them. Some I can't play, like Black & White cause it never went digital, and a real copy is hard to get.

WoW and GW are also out of the picture. WoW cost me too much money & time and I won't want to support blizzard anymore. GW is now just a singleplayer with a online tradehub.

Currently playing through MoH: Breakthough. Which is basically the worst of expansion. Hate it so much, haha.

Max Payne 1 & 2 will be next. There's a good unofficial patch for it.

Totally forgot about Doom 3. I remember a friend of mine had it copied for me, lol. What an era, haha. Same with Fear and Brothers in Arms.

I remember eventually quitting Doom 3 because I didn't had subtitles.

No, these people are the reason a lotta young gamers don't have their own opinion on games and just buy into something blindly because x famous youtuber said it's good.

I had great fun doing MoHAA and MoHAA Spearhead, tho. Still playing Diablo II: LoD since 2001. I started it again in August and few days ago I found my first Ber. Only need a Jah for my Enigma. Wohooo. Can't wait to start Max Payne 1 & 2. Will patch it up and it will run great on a 2560x1440 hopefully. MoHAA does work awesome.

Looking back you see how bad the graphics and frame rate really were. But doesn't take away how good the game play was. It's like people in 30 years looking back at today's games and thinking the same thing.

I can play with something as primitive as a bow IRL, but playing primitive computer games from back in the day just no.

Not a retro games enthusiast.
