I liked the sound of Latin and Ancient Greek back when I used to study it, esp. the scansion of poems. Not the ugly Ecclesiastical Latin, though, ew.

Any language can be the language of love. To me, the idea of a single language being ugly or beautiful is honestly kind of stupid to me. Putting it to an analogy, language is not the art painted on the canvas: language is the brush painting on the canvas.
