God I love curry
I've only ever had one Indian dish that I didn't enjoy. It was something with a lot of oil and eggplant in it...

But thank Red Dwarf for getting me into vindaloos. Matar paneer is awesome too.

its a national British dish but originally from India.

It was invented in Glasgow.

To be fair that's just one explanation of otherwise uncertain origins, at least according to wikipedia. Some sources say it did originate in India.

Either way, it's freakin' delicious. I wish it weren't 9:30pm because I'd get some right now, but the local indian places literally just closed.

I thought it was invented in UK too since we love Indian food and decided to make our own but google says it did actually come from India and UK just populised it, not sure how credible that source is.

The Frito-Lay company considers both Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken to be Canadian. (Also pierogis, the fully loaded baked potato, mac & cheese, poutine, and this really weird tasting thing that they called "maple bacon" that tasted neither like maple, nor bacon and certainly not maple bacon.)
It's not Indian, it's British. They had better artillery, around the Mughal period in India.
I thought Fish n Chips was Britain's National dish.
No. Fish and chips, is what everyone is told.
It's beans on toast

There are so many indians in Britain now that can it even be considered Britain or New India? Maybe chicken tikka masala is a result of the large indian population
Or maybe it's due to the cultural infusion especially because the British Empire was running by slaving Indians and Africans for 200 years.
