Tried this while i was on a trip to uk. It's actually not bad at all. British ppl seem to enjoy mango chutney in their grilled cheese
Personally, I don't see how anyone can even stomach the idea of escargo much less actually eat it. Plus things like raw oysters, that's like letting a mouth full of snot slide down your throat, or any kind of uncooked octopus/squid, even steamed just thinking of it makes me stomach roll.
I hated this assignment so as a result I always picked bizzarre cultures and eating habits including talking about cultures (from India) that still practice modern day cannibalism and other cultures that eat the placenta after a birth of a child. I thought it was pretty gross and I grossed out many of my classmates when I delivered that cultural introduction.
But I had the chance to meet someone who had placenta cooked up and was eating it out of a tuper ware container.
I know it sounds gross, but it actually smelled really good.
Blue rare or bust.
Whatever this behemoth is
Because hearts are used in stews among other things. You could also cut it into chunks and marinate over night and then just roast it quickly on an open fire or a cast iron pan.
Enjoy.
They are always rotten
