go through some of the recipe books from the 50s to 70s and theres some really gross stuff like aspic (unflavored or broth or tomato flavored jello that has peas and meat in it among other things,) things like ham with cheese and banananas melted over it, lots of gross tuna mayo and egg casserole type things etc back then they thought this nasty stuff was fancy
