Weather getting colder is good incentive; and as long as your work doesn't have any strict grooming standard or it would get in the way of things like respirators.
Take face structure, do you have a sharp jawline? If so, you are most likely better without a beard as that will define your face more and be attractive.
Otherwise, what's your haircut style or where you want to take it? Longer hair features can suit and match off with a beard. If you have shorter hair, then shorter stubble, etc.
There's also many different styles of beards. However, no matter what one you go with, you need to keep it maintained. Keep the edges razor sharp and the lengths equal or layered.
It's the same deal with haircut. Accessories such as jewellery, necklace, rings, watch, etc. Or a tattoo, etc. It's more to do with the attraction and focus of attention. Away from your faults and focusing more on your better features.
It can make or break a person's appearance, and you have to get past a transitioning stage as well. So the best you can do is find a very professional hairdresser who will clearly tell you what you can achieve or not, with your face structure, hair flow, and thickness, etc. You might like a certain few pictures for ideas, but they will tell you if it's possible. Then give you a staged progression way to get there without looking completely like a mess while growing it out, etc.

Just understand if you are under a lock down due to the pandemic, it's one of the best times to change it up. Grow out your hair and try new things. They can always cut it back down. It's growing it out which takes time. During an isolation, you don't have to worry so much about that change.
i guess 50% are more beautyfull with a nice full beard
