Look up who owns tencent, which in turn owns epic.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tencent
That is not a source to the claim.
>Paid Exclusives
>Predatory Pricing
>Aggressive company buyouts
>Half Assed store
>Crunches Developers
>Tencent Association
>Childish hypocritical CEO who compared his Apple lawsuit to human rights
>Exploitative F2P model for Fortnite
>Divided consumers and developers
>Finding ways to infect every game with their unwanted services (Easy Anti Cheat, Epic Online Services).
Honestly, I don't know how people can justify supporting Epic considering all the things above. They don't care for developers or consumers, everything they do is for their own personal gain as is the case for most corporations.
It's sadly gotten to the point where I find it hard to want to buy games that use UE even if the developer has done as much as they can to distance themselves from Epic.
Edit: the reason why you might see less people complaining about the EGS is because Epic has acquired very few exclusives this year. There were only 3 at this years Game Awards show and they were all announced as exclusives some time ago.
It's also a topic that has been discussed to death, so there's not as much to talk about.
Is there a source that a foreign government is spying? No absolutely not, otherwise they'd be pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ at spying. Just like there was no source of CCP stealing their entire telecom technology from Nortel, until it was already said and done.
Just like there was no source that they had Chinese spies infiltrated in the upper echelon of American politics, until last week when the spy escaped.
But yeah, there's no way they'd use epic to spy like they're currently doing with Huawei and tik Tok. Completely unfounded and baseless!
So, baseless accusations without proof?
Got it!
wdym?
