Plus, can’t I just play the l4d1 campaigns in L4D2?
l4d1 campaigns were somewhat changed in l4d2 to the versus-only versions so they're pretty inferior
there's different options and experiences for running in l4d1 by comparison and also different glitches to use

Ok well I already play L4D2 so there’s that. Oh, and remember:

Any game where bunnyhopping is possible.

The GTA series is also an honorable mention.

I feel there's value in trying to get into speedrunning for games that have little-to-no speedrunning communities currently. Sure, it might mean that you don't get that sense of working with & competing against others players.

But on the flip side, a significant portion of speedrunning lies in the discovery of how the game functions, and in what ways you're able to manipulate that to your advantage. And what better way to make discoveries than by playing the games that nobody is attempting to uncover?

Only the most relaxing game that you could ever speedrun if you're so inclined.

I've found that speedrunning Superliminal is pretty easy. The game takes about 2 hours on first playthrough (and is just good) and getting under 30 minutes isn't particularly hard. The glitchless run mostly just comes down to being able to get to the puzzles' solutions as quick as you can, standing in the right place and being able to quickly manipulate objects. Once you know how the puzzles work, most of them only require a couple clicks.

Dishonored. I was watching a guy a couple years ago and he absolutely would put Spider-man to flame with the Maneuvers he was doing. He didn't touch the ground for sooooo long.
completely agree, Dishonored runs are so great to watch.
I was watching a few yesterday for Dishonored 2 but in Chaos. I want to do a speed run of the series but without any kills, KO nor any alerts.

Ultimate chickenhorse on steam. Maybe speedrunning it would mean your doom but you get to fight and trap three of your friends while doing it.
