PC equivalent to Gran Turismo?

The only reason I bought a PS1 is for GT, and the same goes for the PS2 and 3! I miss playing the game. Is there anything close on the PC?

EDIT: I should add that I preferred to play with minimal assistance, manual gears. D-pad only, analogue x and sqaure and used the view that only showed the track... I wasn't into the arcady way of playing it.

Assetto Corsa.

Project Cars is ok too but I prefer the realism of AC.

p.s. - let me guess, you're European? Cos buying a PS for GT is a pretty European thing to do...

FM7 looks like the one I'll go for. I'll watch some YouTube videos later to see if my GPU is up to it.

Yeah, European... I did also own Worms on the PS1!

Assetto if you want more realism. Forza for fun.

Best you can get is the Forza series, if you want motorsport then you have Apex for like a demo to see how you like it then buy Motorsport 7. There is Horizon 4, personally i kinda dislike it but you may find it entertaining. Horizon 3 which is better imo got taken down recently so thats a bummer. All trough Microsoft Store however.

isn't Assetto Corsa the game on which people was getting banned because mean words or slangs that had nothing to do with ricesism?

Though I was never a big fan of Gran Turismo I gotta admit, GT4 is pretty good. There's actually someone who makes videos of ps2 gameplay running the games through an emulator with 8x times the original resolution. They look pretty good.
