"It works" if you like the winner
meh.
That and The Evil Dead, getting to blast deadites with Ash's trusty boom stick is gonna be fun.
Actually, it proves that there's no such thing as a "community" for a video game.
It doesnt matter 1 bit that the games you like didnt win and the game you dont like won.
Also: Best acting for Abby lmao. ♥♥♥♥ is so rigged it's not even funny.
Political correctness, just die already.
Walking and talking, waiting for NPCs to finish their scripted portions, nothing happening as you run around, who finds this fun? Who enjoys stopping in order for NPC to finish their thing?
I remember playing some Asterix game where Asterix had to do one portion while Obelix does the other. And unlike TLOU, you actually control both characters when necessary, because they figured out in 2003 that you want to play the game, not watch it.
Also considering we're talking of a single player game and not a multiplayer one it's less strange sales to dip sharply after that 'honeymoon phase'. Multiplayer games generate longer engagement levels that attract players for longer.
I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing a similar curve for Cyberpunk 2077 in the following days. The bulk of people who wanted they've likely bought it already (give or take a few people waiting for bugs to be ironed out) The rest will be waiting for a sale.
Sometimes wanting to be angry about something make us lose perspective of how things work in the real world.
I miss having this argument thrice a day during the Steam Sales community vote. Where. every. single. vote. was. rigged. somehow.
The trends they started are a huge part of the reason gaming is so bland and uninteresting right now. They should be given an award for convincing the industry that the kind of bland, cutscene driven gameplay they create is some kind of accomplishment to be copied time and again.
Maybe that's exactly what this is.
I remember that... they probably also did it with the Lou2 game to because of the unusual amount of returns it was getting, not to mention shelves still packed and retailers just couldn't get rid of the so called game. If anything... it was more of a Coffee Coaster.
I also remembered 1 Korean streamer got so bored with the game and hated it so much that he snapped the disc in half.
