What does this "BASED" Internet slang word mean?

I have done research and have found that this "BASED" slang word was originated from a social media site known as "4chin", if I am correct. I have concluded that this slang is not related at all to its original definitions. In response, I resorted to less civilized sources to test if they had a clearer meaning to this piece of informal language; but the procedure had yielded little to no results, which was to be expected. If I am to ever coexist in an informal vicinity, then I should familiarize myself to their way of communication.

Based is shorten slang upon that word "debase", but in a drug driven and carefree sense. It's being addicted to a certain drug or acting in such a way. I won't mention it because it's against the rules of the steam forum.

Lil B rapper attempted to change it's meaning about being being yourself and not caring what others think of you. Swag, etc. However, it's hiding the real meaning behind it, as his music is actually about being a dealer. The cooking dance isn't about cooking foods.

Yeah another reason for complete drug legalization. It'll lead to better music.
