Honestly, "ripoffs" can sometimes be a good thing. If it wasn't for games ripping of Doom we wouldn't have FPS games (who I think were originally called "Doom clones"). So if this game adds some good features not present in Among Us that can be a good thing. However I'll believe it when I see it.

EDIT:

I guess what makes a "ripoff" good or not is if you're just lazy and copy someone else or if you use another game as inspiration and add things of your own.

Why do people need to defend a game whenever they preach that a game is being ripped off anyway? Should be entirely up to the developer/publisher and any paid lawyers they can buy with the money they're making off sales.

Most already have paid lawyers for this very thing, they aren't afraid to use them either, Nintendo being a prime example of that.

I just never got this whole witch hunt tribalism that happens so often on the internet lately.

They could have AT LEAST change the art style and the mechanics... But they just straight up copied it. If it was a game that was like Among Us in terms of gameplay, but with completely different mechanics and art style, It would be okay in my book. But no, this is just a rip-off.

Among Us was not original either, and where does it advertise itself as original? These are all shovelware titles. Just look at the graphics of both these titles, they both look like something that was made 20 years ago.
