What breaks and needs replacing too often?
In your opinion.

For me 2 of them are ear buds/head phones and computer mice. Shoes also make da list.

Other than wrapping gifts. I don't think tape is worth the packaging it comes in. Including gorilla glue tape.

Like am I crazy thinking tape is a scam? Same with crazy clue.

Most of the time it breaks that week.

Yeah dysons build quality don’t match the price
The batteries in my atomic wall clock only last a couple months before it starts getting dim. My old clock was about 14 years old and only needed new batteries every 2 years or so.

Of course, I'm using rechargable metal hydride AAs now, but even so, the difference them and disposable alkalines can't be that extreme.

Don't get me started on hand vacs. The Black and Decker bastards need to start selling replacement battery packs instead of having to replace the entire thing.

Oh my gosh yes, printers don't deserve to exist. The whole dated ink scam. The scanner won't scan if print is out of ink. All that stuff that should be illegal and them taken to court in a lawsuit for every penny.

When I was an artist and couldn't afford a wacom, I had to deal with a printer/scanner combo all the time. And its trash like, OUT OF INK!!! Like DUDE I can shake the ink cart, is half full. And dude! I just want black ink, don't give me that mess that you need to use all the color ink to make the black "better".

Huh, really? I must have good luck. I've used the same cheap Microsoft mouse for over fifteen years (basically half my lifetime), and my headphones lasted almost as long. What on earth are you people doing to break them?

The only thing that ever seems to break for me are big house fans...usually because someone always yanks the thing off tables by tripping over the cords, and the plastic smashes into a million pieces.

Keyword here is you used "old" mouse. Mice from 2000s usually last, least in my experience 5 years of constant heavy use.

I remember those old mouse with the rubber ball in them , those thing used to last years and years of abuse and dust unlike modern gaming mouse.

you probably had a good chance of switching to a new computer but still be using the same mouse that you had before unlike today where you can't just have one mouse that outlive your computer unless you're lucky or got a very expensive mouse.

Best hand vac iv had is a shark. Can remove batteries and charge them. Plus you get 2 so can always keep one on charge. The dysons I had didn’t last 12 months before they started failing

I have one, and it's quite reliable. An upright. The parts are easily replaceable and you can order them online. So, better than Shark or Sanyo, which are disposable. A former boss would find Shark vacs for the front of the house (restaurant), and he'd buy like 8 at a time when they went on sale at Kohls, and keep 7 in storage, just replacing it twice a year.

Granted, restaurant employees never take good care of equipment, so there's that.

Another friend had a house-cleaning business, and her Dyson was still alive when she died, 6 years after she bought it. I like 'em.

Inkjet printers are cheap but the ink cartridges are pretty scammy. They dry out quickly, have to constantly be replaced and even 'refill kits' are a joke.

I ponied up for a laser printer, and while the cartridges are expensive they don't dry out and they last a super long time so you don't have to replace nearly as often. Best purchase I've made as far as printers, worth the investment to me.

Nah definitely have to disagree. Not sure which model your referring to but the parts on shark iv got can be replaced to same extent as the dyson. Only difference is the shark batteries are removable where the dysons were fitted. I’m on about the cordless ones by the way, not tried the uprights

Printers are built to break and even when they don't break they're built to show error message untill you change the proper parts even if these parts are in working conditions just because you've exceeded the quantity of prints they where tested for.

lot's of company sell printers for less then they cost to be built but in exchange they sell the ink cartridge for 10 times what they cost to make.
