Is ketchup better than mayonaise?
I have a VERY important question. It is about ketchup and mayonaise. So, the question is: Which one of them is better? In my opinion, ketchup is ALOT better. Anyways, that's it.

"Catsup," you barbarians.

And no. It's gross and inferior to mayo.
Ketchup is nasty, I think most ingredients some kind of chemical. Mayonnaise much better made with lemon and it very easy to make at home.
I like them both for different occasions. I like ketchup with fries but never on sandwiches or burgers. I like mayo for sandwiches and burgers but never for fries. Mixing them together is also good for both, aka mayochup.
I mostly only use mayo, and mostly just chipotle lime mayo. I don't use ketchup much but I use different hot sauces.

Hellman's Mayo is the best thing ever. Preferably with thick fat selfmade fries and some fried Pollock/Coalfish
Mayo sucks. I grew up within a group of people who I called friends and they drowned their french fries in that white, disgusting goo. And why limit yourself to french fries? Pour that stuff on everything you can eat. Potatoes, noodles, bulgur, pizza, meat, fish ... it was horrendous.

That's the time when I started to love the Sriracha sauce.
Sriracha is better than ketchup, and it is great with mayonnaise. :Bikini:
Ketchup. I can play cannibal. I don't like playing with mayonnaise
On fries, yes.

But not in a potato salad.

Who on earth combines potato salad with mayo?

Everyone needs to move to the dark side and embrace brown sauce. Specifically Daddies branded brown sauce.

They have great brown sauce in Ireland. Oof <3

My mom does.

I think it’s an English thing.

Ketchup, mustard, french dressing and mayonaise mixed together with fine diced mined onion, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, sugar and salt. Fridged overnight.

Aka Big Mac Sauce

Yeah, Big Mac sauce is highly addictive. I think there is a tiny amount of horseradish in it too because it has a slight bite.

Oh, god, you're one of those people who likes German-style potato salad made with bacon grease.

Nope, American. It's common in recipes actually. My mother is a few generations removed from the Rhineland and even she despises German food.

Oh I dunno, parents from Pittsburgh. Dad is a slovenian-polish third gen, mom is a...scotch-heavy mixture of english settler families.

Dad thinks it’s weird, but mostly cooks appalachian food.

Mom cooks...very, very bland English food. Feels that the mayo-potato salad is completely normal.
