Yes it's just you... I've seen many of games on my wish list 60+% off...
So should I wait for Christmas Sale?
Yea so for example, I remember game Outward. It's last sale in Halloween or summer, I can't remember which, it got much deeper discount, like it went down to like 10-15 bucks or so, I kinda did not buy, I thought were no rush. Now it is like only 50%....like what the hell!!??
Kinda like other post said, depends on game, but I wonder if Christmas sale got deeper discount?
At least thats judging from my wishlist.
If you want to potentially save 66% rather than 50%, definitely wait until the winter sale. There's no guarantee that it will or will not have a deeper discount though.
Fine then, I'll just wait for winter sale. I probably just grab 1 or 2 titles with nice discounts.

Some game devs do, others don't.
I've always found that if I wait for "deeper discounts" they never happen.. it depends on the game, how much I want it, and how much it's on sale for more then 50% off... some games do have better sales... some never do.. depends on the Developers/Publisher.
I believe I've only purchased two of the games I have online ( on Steam ) at full price...
To answer your first question, no it's not just you. I've noticed myself personally, the discounts on most sales have decreased incrementally over the past several years. And second, yes you may want to wait until the Winter Sale - the best deals are usually provided in the Summer and Winter sales, although as I've said they've become less great over the past several years.
