C&C Remastered has both C&C1 and Red Alert 1.

I remember wanting to play the giant ant missions in C&C but never could at the time find that version of the game. Then many years later when youtube was still fun and not ruled over by google and politics I found a playthrough of those missions and decided I hadn't really missed much.

I'd go with C&C myself.

I have both and honestly couldn't choose between them because both are great games, Get one and save up for the other.

As others have stated, AOE is good if you like micro-management. I ♥♥♥♥ at it and most RTS games in general. But I completed C&C Red Alerts campaign on normal.

So I think C&C is easier. Also, much prefer C&Cs unique setting.

both. i played these many years ago early 2000s since i owned the originals cds. there is nothing better than aoe or c&c series they are the best RTS, they were insta buys when they hit steam. i would highly recommend these.

warcraft 3 is as good as these but unfortunately not on steam, was hoping blizzard would have ported the remaster to steam..

TibSun and RA2 remasters are yet to happen.

I'm a huge RTS fan but would agree that Red Alert Series is the better one so far. AoE is still fun but I found the AI a bit stupid compared to C&C's AI.
