Apparently cod warzone has this problem where aim assist acts like an aimbot if you use controller.

I never played cod warzone but this is just horrible.
I have suspicion that pc players are somehow handicapped in fps games with crossplay or they somehow buff controller players without them realizing it.
If it were fighting games crossplay I wouldn't mind. I mean you're just pressing directional inputs and a bunch of buttons. And it's not as motion intensive like shooter games
Not saying it works WELL, but hey.
If people want to enjoy the same game on different platforms let them.
I mean y'all know that k/m pc players are always going to have the edge on others in those multiplayer battle modes, so hey why not think of it as a target-rich environment?
Console players just need to git better. Press A to continue; mash X for happiness.
but in the future when technology get faster the consoles will have cheaters too because A.I based cheating can actually read what's on the screen and might start spreading more.
I wish all games in the future would release cross-platform, for competitive games they should stick to just console cross-platform if people care so much about it. But, you can play those same games with mouse and keyboard on consoles, I really don't see the problem.
Fun fact, in the mid-90s when my friends got some of the first linux stuff on their home computers, one of them trained a program to watch his (i think it was) dark age of camelot or ultima online character's shop overhead. It literally tracked the sprites on the screen and created inputs, so they could bot an account without actually interfering with any form of the program at all.
Guy spent like a week writing this thing, setting it up, in order to "make more time to play the rest of the game" while his tailor could make all the money they needed... And what did we do when he turned it on?
We all sat there for 4 hours *watching it* do this. It was amazing, to be honest.
So if you believe that 'AI cheats' haven't already been and gone in this manner... they have, they just aren't that good with modern games...
This is a problem with aim assist, not cross play
There's a thing called mod menu. It's a great invention till you get caught. This video is a example of aimbot mod menu has nothing to do with aim assist. Which is why cross play is bad because there is some PC gamers who ruined certain games by using these mod menus. War zone and Cold War is a perfect example of this and when the new cod launches that will be another example.
What does that even have anything to do with cross play? Even without crossplay, ppl already use cheats.
