Will Smith's unreleased music video on Nightmare on Elm Street
Looks like New Line sued them to stop the release and they were able to post it DECADES later. This is for Freddy fans. Man imagine Freddy in this music video of course the video Robert Englund did him and that rock band did coke off his Knives

I will say it is impressive in how long it was.
Wait a minute, if this was stopped from ever being released why do I remember hearing it back in the 6th grade?

So google it. It was never released. You most likely are thinking of another Fresh Prince song.

No, I definitely remember listening to this very song. The creepy piano, the way he said "A nightmare... on MY street!" Maybe we had an early cassette copy before they decided to sue to stop further production or something.

We also listened to a rapper named Dana Dane around the same time. "I'm Dana Dane with FaaAAAAaammmee!!" hahaha. Old rap is just the best.

We are talking about the video, right? Of course the song was released back then, it was a gigantic hit and led many to buy the album.
I had it on cassette myself

Yea the album you can buy today has the radio edit on it. as the original album version was longer.
I remember both versions.

Album version
It was burning in my room like a oven my bed soaked with sweat and man i was bugging i checked the clock and it stopped at 12:30 It had melted it was so darn hot and I was thirsty i wanted something cool to quench my thirst i thought to myself yo this heat is the worst but when i got down stairs i knew something was wrong i was home all alone but the tv was on. I thought nothing of it as i grabbed the remote i pushed the power button and i almost chocked when i heard this awful voice coming from behind you turned off david letterman and now you must die.
