Legacy of Kain Blood Omen?
Will it come to Steam? Just now GOG added it, but i am one of those boycotting it, ever since it went down the drain. I would very much prefer to buy my games here! Since those second rate crooks acquired the rights to this gem and Steam already sells the entire series minus it... Is there any possibility for that to be added?

Did you see they removed the original Soul Reaver to "work on important updates" at both GOG and Steam. I wonder what that's about.
I was thinking of buying the whole series but noticed that particular title isnt' available.

Maybe Steam will get Blood Omen down the line sometime.

Really? I am none the wiser. I bought every game in the series few years back. I only lack Blood Omen that was just released, but i swore to all that is holy... I. Am. Never. Spending. A. Single. Dime. On. GOG-store. Ever. Again.

I am a man of my word, completely unlike those clowns running the place over there, so it's Steam or nothing for me!

I was really looking forward to this release, but as sure as all hell, i ain't cracking.

Why do you say they are second rate crooks? I do not have a gog account, but I was thinking of making one eventually to play their version of Silent Hill 4, because I never got around to playing 4 back in the ps2 days and I am not buying an actual copy of it in 2021.

Please, don't mind me. I still remember how they started their business, their old principles, the special relationship of transparency with community and mutual trust. Their old videos with advertizing their consumer friendly policies and stance on DRM, as well as other inconveniences of gaming and how they themselves threw all that in the gutter, becoming somebody else.

Besides, my main concern was Blood Omen hitting Steam, so as i can buy it here. And if you are new there, then there is nothing to make you angry. That and if i am to shop from a Steam-wannabe, i'd rather shop directly from Steam because it's bigger, better, runs this model for longer and it never promised things without delivering, or ever revoked privileges that once gave.

Guess OP never noticed that you can still use the offline installer that doesn't require GOG Galaxy. Thus making the Galaxy launcher completely optional, and still keeps the DRM free promise.

On the other hand OP could just be a big troll that likes to bring up pointless hate for GOG because they are bored.

Well, if you're boycotting GoG, then say goodbye to legally owning several classic PC games in digital format.

With that said, Steam is still getting retro PC games too - you can't get the Quake remaster on GoG afaik and Witchaven just recently landed on Steam too.

They are bringing the Quake update to the GOG version though:

Oh, so you are mad that something changed with time in a bad way and veered of course from the original vision. That's fair, and happens a lot, so I think I understand despite never having never used gog before.
